Power Supply Hook Up

My computer has been running hot latley so today I went in for a closer look. The fan on the powersupply was ceased, so I went out and purchased a new powersupply. A friend of mine works at a store near me and he sold me a 350W supply for $20 CAD.
Anyways, there are 2 strands of wire coming out of the power supply with the ability to hook floppy's & CD Drives to each one. Every other time I have hooked up a power supply there has only been one such strand.
My question is should I hook all devices in my computer onto the same strand (floppy, DVD ROM, CD ROM, Harddrive), or should I alternate the devices over the two strands?

Doesn't matter as they are both off the same tap on the transformer.

You might consider putting the floppy and the hard drive one and the cd rom on the other. Per is right they do come from the same tap but having the 2 strands as you put it makes for a tidy insides. You might even consider routing the IDE cables while you're in there. And a can of air to blow out the cobwebs.
