This is a problem I can't seem to find a solution. I'm setting my Power Scheme to "Always On" so that all settings are set to "Never" turn off anything.

However, somehow my monito still shuts off after 20 minutes. And when I go back to check on my settings, the "Turn off monitor" is set back to "20 minutes"... !?!?!

I went back to my settings after I set them to "Never" and all was good. I tried to look for some power management that could come with my video driver/card, but nothing...

Anyone?

Did you click apply after you set it to Never?

Man.. I was sure I didn't have to write that... I said to myself "Nah, no one will answer that"

... yes I did click Apply.

To all who might answer, please consider this: I'm not a noobie. I come here for answers when I have looked everywhere, tried Googling and tried M$ KB...I'm not offended, it's just that I don't want to waste your time and mine ;)

Depending on how your BIOS is configured your BIOS may be controlling the power options too.

Set to S1 and never in the BIOS and let the OS control the power options.

Is this really necessary?

XpUser... I think maybe the OP's idea is to "kill one bird with two stones".

Kinda like this story:

A guy slips on a banana and falls hard on his head. Of course his friend rushes over and asks "Geez! Are you OK?". The victim gets all incensed, and starts ranting:"What the f*** do ya think? I just fell on my bleepin' head on this !@#$ hard pavement, and all you can &^%$ say is: "Are you OK'..?"

The friend says: "I guess you are then -- I thought you might be seriously hurt".

Something to that effect.
