The power options feature doesn't seem to work anymore. It used to, but now it will never shut down by itself. Please help me!

WINDOWS XP SHUTDOWN & RESTART TROUBLESHOOTING http://www.aumha.org/win5/a/shtdwnx... Check this one first. Start > Control Panel > Power Options APM. Advanced Power Management. Tick > Enable Advanced Power Management support.
