I've had a problem for the past few days. The little battery icon in the taskbar has disappeared, I've gone into Customize Notificatations and set it to always show, didn't work.
I went into Power Options Properties and checked it said Always Show Icon On Taskbar, it did, but I changed it to off, then switched it back to on, didn't work.
It's really irritating because I work a lot away from power, and never know how much time I have left.Does anyone know how I can fix this?

power options/advanced check "always show on taskbar" and remember to click APPLY Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.

OK, so after going through the usual procedures to get icons back on the taskbar and after restarting the computer, nothing happened. Now I just turned my computer back on...
and it's back!
I did nothing, it's just back. Bloody XPBiscuits are good, but keep the crumbs off your keyboard!
