Comment:

I recently had a power failure while working on my computer.

When I went to restart the computer Windows Gave me some options to boot with. which were:

- Safe Mode
- Safe Mode with Networking
- Safe Mode with Command Prompt

- Last known Good Configuration
and
- Start windows Normally

The only option that works is number 1
- Safe Mode

If i try to start windows normally, windows will go thru it's boot sequence and loading screen then it will just display a black screen.

Could something have happened to my video card?

Also, this happened once before but i didn't know what to do so i Reinstalled windows.

If anyone has some helpfull information on how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
Paul

If your card works in safe mode there probably isn't a problem with your card. If you can, try re-installing the video drivers.
