I hate Power DVD but since there are only like 2 Blu-Ray players available I have no choice. I installed Power DVD 8.0 that came with my drive then it wanted to do an Update. I did so and now I can not see any CD or DVD drives on my computer. They all come up with the driver failing. I tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling, still nothing. I tried a SCSI CD ROM, and still nothing. I tried uninstalling the product and it Blue Screens. I do not know who wrote this junk but I am afraid to install it because this is the second computer I have messed up with this software.

Thanks, these are actual players like consoles which what I am considering but in the mean time I have no CD/DVD drives and would like to know how to completely remove Power DVD to fix this.
There has to be some kind of Registry problem that is preventing me from mounting USB and CD drives.
