My Low Power alarms don't work on my laptop. The battery meter works fine, but when I run out of power, my computer just goes to hybernate mode (which I want it to do and it does it fine).
I would like a warning and I can't figure out for the life of me why the messages don't pop up. When I plug it back in (or change the battery) and boot it up from Hybernation, there are the two alarm messages that should have come up before.
I have even tried to change when the alarms come on (I've tried 50, 75, and 95%) and every time, I watch the battery meter pass by these points and no messages pop up.
Any suggestions?

That doesn't help me. I know how to use Google and do not need you to search for me. And how is "laptop instructions" going to help me anyway?
