Hello everybody, I have a friend who has a problem
with his computer, he has a PC with Windows XP and
he thinks that he might have a virus, this is the
thing, the computer starts up but when it's done it
just displays the wallpapaer, no icons, and when he
tries to open a program it says that another program
is using it (but it doesn't say wich program it is) and
it doesn't open it, he asked me for help and I've tried
to find a virus with that description but I've been
ususccesful, maybe someone here can help me out
in finding out what virus it is, thanks in advance for
any help.

Have him install a Anti Virus program , a good free one is AntiVir or AVG . Then install, update, and scan in safe mode. See where that leads...
