Is it possible for 2 to be connected to 1 pc at once? let's say if I got a ps/2 to usb adapter for my office keyboard, and let me regular sit in the ps2 port, could I have two operational keyboards at once? I just like a certain keyboard better than the other for gaming and hate switching each time.

There is a hardware that do that. It's a keyboard switch box where you can plug sometimes 4 sets (Keyboard + mouse) at the same time using the same computer.
