Hi all,
Was wondering whether this is a SP2 conflict, having problems with my AVsoftware, when I do an update the program hangs, DM says its running, however, when I stop the update, I get a "non-responsive" message.
Current AV is AVG7, originally up-graded from AVG6, however, I have since uninstalled the AV, re-booted, then did a reinstall, which is still the same. Does anyone else have this problem or can anyone help solve this issue? Just for the record I had no problems with AVG6.
I have also tried various settings in the Security Centre, still the same.
Thanks in advance

Everyone including me has been having trouble with AVG7. You can do a manual donwload and install of the virus updates but thats a bit of a pain.

You could try Avast from:

Its free and seems to do the job as well as AVG/
