Hi guys, i have a problem connecting to the servers in Emule. The thing is that when i connect to some server, it says in a log window "Your 2869 port is not reachable. Please review your network config." Also, i tryied to install utorrent, it doesn't want to download at all, just like emule....with emule i can connect to server, i can search but can't download anything.
Now, i live in a student dorm, and i have two IP addresses in my network settings, one is IP, then subnet mask, and the other, that is writen under subnet mask is different from the IP by last integer. Can someone tellme what to do?pls
thanks in advance!

You need to open the ports specified, the only way to do this is thru the Campus Server and you need to ask the IT Admin why they will not open to P2P file sharing sites. Maybe if you read the T&C's of the Internet Fair Policy Usage which the campus Supply it would state that Peer2Peer Sharing Websites will be blocked.
You can try to work around this problem but if you do you will most likely find yourself reported to the Police, the IT Dept will have a log of the your activity, and thrown of Campus.
Basically in a nutshell many P2P sites carry illegal software hence why they are blocked.
