My customer was getting an error in a Message Box titled "Port is busy".
The error message was :
The Compaq A1500 is either in use by another application or is busy printing a copy or fax. Please try printing your document again when the Compaq A1500 is available.
1. The printer was a USB printer and a virtual USB port was created for it. 2. I was not able to enable Print Spooling as there was only one port configured for it. 3. I tried to stop and rerun the printer spooler service though it does not really make sense. 4. There were no other applications that were using the printer actually. 5. The print job queue was empty.
I finally had no other solution than to remove and reinstall the printer. Do you think I would have provided any better solution than this?

It sounds like that your default printer was set to FAX instead to your printer. Right click on the printer properties and make sure it is your default printer and not the FAX
