try regedit, search for the url and delete all entries referring to it manually ... backup registry first

Today's subliminal thought is: 'Calm down ... it's only ones and zeros.'

AdAware nd SpyBot also?

Once clean - install SpyyWareBlaster. Also maintain current reference files for AdAware/SpyBot/SpywareBlaster.

When you install each util - do an immediate update of its reference file - prior to scanning system.

Use AdAware from Lavasoft--it's free & xlnt!!!

I've solved this problem for myself & others using AdAware.
Some Antivirus app's detect malware like your problem.

These items always seem to be in your temporary internet files. You can often solve the problem by just clearing TIF out.

Also be sure to check to see what's loading at startup--Any new or suspicious items can be removed temporarily.

I also check the dates modified or created --once I find one culprit or suspect--to find related items ...or generally to get any clues or guesses going. Recollecting & Checking the dates is a good way to sleuth the problem.
