The new version of the Google Toolbar has an excellent built in popup stopper. If you are getting popups through "messenger" go to http://www.grc.com/ and get "Shoot the Messenger". You can also check your system there using "free stuff" and "shieldsup". Tae care and all the best!

Ray, The most effective way to stop pop-ups is to stop using IE.
Opera and Mozilla are way ahead of IE in the features they contain. One of those features is pop-up blocking.
Of course you can install yet another program on your system that does the job your browser should do, or you could just use a modern browser. Your choice my man.

I downloaded the google web browser for IE so I could havea pop-up stoper, and I really liked it, is there anything like it that is compatable with the Netscape web browser? Thanks
