Google toolbar is very good but most people say its spyware, although I dont think it is at all, I think yahoo also offer the same service with their toolbar. Oviously the best pop-up stoppers are the one's you actually pay for, but google's good enough for me.

Try switching from IE to Mozilla Firefox, it has a built in pop up stopper, it is free, it contains no adware or spyware, it has tabed browsing built in, and best of all, IT IS SOOOO MUCH FASTER!! Just give it a try, if you don't like it, you can always switch back. Get it here.

Also, if you mean pop ups on your main desktop, not in your internet browser, you most likely have spyware. In which case, you need to install Ad-aware and scan the system for spyware (remember to update the Reference File before scaning!) Get Ad-aware here.

Response #4 from demonking is the best free pop-up stopper. The toolbar ones still seem to have some spy and adware in them.

AdSubtract Pro is the best, it's not free but it will take out every type of advert you can think of.

Google for it, If I put the link in this post will be deleted.

Because Justin does not like all his adverts on this website to get blocked. It will take out all forms of advertising with some tweaking.
