Sometimes I get this popup and this time I noticed it showed immediately after performing an update from the task bar - an icon appeared - when I ran the mouse over it, the message said updates were available for my computer. I get this icon every month or so. I clicked on it and being suspicious, I did the "custom" update but ended up allowing all 5 or 6 suggested, supposedly from Microsoft - one was the malicious software removal tool. Is this legitament or am I being had? All I know is that right after this, I have been getting the email compression popups - there is plenty of room on my pc - I'm suspicious - have not done the email compression to save space but the popup appears everytime I close Outlook Express. Any suggestions?
