Comment:

Every now and then, even if internet explorer isn't open, a window pops up and then minimizes itself to the taskbar. On it it says "Loading." I can't even maximize it to see what it says and then it just disappears.

Also, I run Panicware Pop-Up Stopper. It used to be that if I wanted to open link in new window, I had to hold in shift or else the pop-up blocker blocked it. Now it doesn't block it anymore. I have ran Ad-Aware and SpyBot and deleted all spyware and adware found but it doesn't do anything.

1. Disable Messenger Service: Start Menu> Run > services.msc > press enter . Scroll thru the list on the right to find Messenger, right click it, select properties , select Stop, if started, then select Disable in the Startup Type. Click Apply, OK.

2. FWIW, the Google Toolbar is the best popup stopper for IE there is, and its free.

3. You should run an online AV scan to be sure your AV program is working,
