Hello everyone,
Hopefully someone can help me out. I've played Pogo for a few years without any problems but all of a sudden I can't play anything now because of 'Java not enabled or installed properly'. I've looked this up here but can't see anything I haven't done to try and fix it. I have cleared the cache, uninstalled Java, re-installed it, made sure it's set enabled for IE, checked for virus etc.. On the Java website there's a way to check it's working properly and up to date, all good there. In Pogo there is a test to click on, that too is cool plus pop up test is ok, so I haven't a clue. Recently I had problems with Netflix and called the customer support. They told me to reset my browser to the default settings but it didn't fix the problem. I did eventually fix that though by going into the IE settings and enabling 'ActiveX controls to run without prompt'. (Not sure why that worked but it did). I'm not too sure what some of those settings in there actually mean..but maybe some of them are set incorrectly because of the resetting of the browser back to default?
Thanks.

Nicola, sorta a shot in the dark, but... Under security in IE, anything higher than 'med' will block (firewall) and M$ likes to reset to 'high' on updates without your knowledge. Maybe?

If it was fine previously then try system a restore.

Try IE6 Tools, Internet Options, Programs, Managed Add-Ons or
In IE7, Tools, Manage Add-ons, Enable or Disable Add-Ons

Currently loaded and/or Have been used

See if Java's Plug-ins status is showing as Enabled or not.

Some security software will disable it there.

Thanks for your suggestion. I had a look at the settings and all in there for Java are enabled. No luck.
I did try system restore like the other helper suggested also but I still have this problem. Really stuck on this one. Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
