You'll need to provide more information. For example; have you confirmed the printer is getting power? Does the computer "see" the printer? How is the printer connected?

Life's more painless for the brainless.

1-Drivers are corrupt
solition: download new drivers from Epson
2-Cable might be faulty
solution: Try another cable
3-Printer may be out of ink
Solution: Buy some new ink
4-Maybe try a system restore to before it stopped
5- list any error codes that come up

Go to My computer > right Click >Propertes > Device Manager > PORTS

See if any of the port has "YELLOW QUESTION MARK". If so, printer diver is corrupted.

Next, go to START > SETTINGS > Printers and Faxes. RIGHT CLICK and DELETE the Printer. Then close all open windows. NExt Remove the Printer Parellel Cable (from back of the computer/assuming you are still not using the USB port). SHUT DOWN THE COMPUTER FOR 10 minutes, and also remove the MAIN POWER CABLE.(Purpose: remove any memory resisdency of your corrupted pnter info.
After 10 min or so, plug back the MAIN POWER CABLE, Restart teh computer. Go back to > SETTINGS > Printers and Faxes. Your Pinter info should be gone.

Next install the Printer Driver using CD or downloaded from Printer manufacturer's website. Once you install the program, SHUT DOWN the computer one more time.

While the computer is OFF, plug back the PRINTER CABLE to the PARELLEL PORT. Restart the computer. If everything goes fine, your printer will be automatically recognized.

For final time check: > SETTINGS > Printers and Faxes, make your printer as Default Printer.

Print Test, if any problem or sucess, please post.
