Hi i have a serious problem my brother has windows xp and all of a sudden every time when i start up it makes me run scan disk and when i get to my desktop a blue screen comes up and it restarts ive tried many times and still same thing im 13 and its my bros computer plz help b 4 me kills me
If you can't run fast have you tried the last known good config? When the system is booting press the F8 Key, it might take a few tries but you should get the boot menu. Try last known good config first and if that does not work, try safe mode and run system restore and restore the system back to a few days ago.

i didnt do any thing i just started it up and all of it happened and i cant even get into safe mode and hes gonna b home soon thanx for all your help every one :(:(

Sarah, The sensible and grown up thing to do in these cicumstances is to lie. Perhaps you have a younger brother or sister that you can blame it on? Nevertheless, deny that you have been anywhere near his computer, and try not to laugh. I hope this advice helps.
