For some reason, my Plug n Play is not working correctly. I've plugged in a cordless mouse receiver, a new printer and a USB hub into my USB port and they are not recognized. The only thing I can plug into my USB port and work is my gamepad controller and my jumpdrive. What's the fix for this problem?

If you have the xp installation disc, maybe try an sfc /scannow and it will replace the corrupted files. It won't work with restoration discs.
Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Here's the thing...my CPU came with Windows ME and I upgraded to Windows XP. I have the disc but when I try to do anything with it, it says the version of Windows I currently have is newer than the version on the disc. I assume this is because I have XP Service Pack 2. What should I do? Uninstall SP2?
