I've been working on a school desktop for awhile, and I can't do much with it because on of the problems is that it doesn't install drivers when I plug in a USB device. Mostly flash drives, but also cameras, speakers, and special keyboards/mice.

It only works if I install a driver (one camera came with a driver disk), but most flash drives expect XP to come with them.

So, how do I restore the drivers? or where to get them from? I really need to fix this, and nothing i've tried works.

Just a bit too reto

I'm not the full administrator, but I do have the passwords for the administrator accounts, and this particular computer has all admin privileges. I also have permission to do anything I need to, as the 'administrator' has no idea what she's doing.
