Hi all. I've tried to figure out this problem with no luck. I am constantly getting this dialog box popping up......Server Busy. This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy.
Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy program and correct the problem........When i click "Switch To" my start menu opens up and i have no idea what to do. If i click "Retry" a few times an IE popup will eventually appear. And the cancel button is grayed out and i can't click on it. How do i resolve this problem?? Thanx!

If you use a Dial-Up Internet connection, try this. Will not hurt-
1. Click on the "Start" button and select "Control Panel."
2. Double-click on the "Internet options" icon.
3. Click on the "Connections" tab.
4. Select "Never dial a connection" under "Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings."
5. Click "Apply and "OK" to close. You also need to disable windows XP auto dial feature:
1. Click on Start
2. Click on Control Panel
3. Click on Network and Internet Connections
4. In the left hand window pane click on the My Network Places link
5. In the left hand window pane click on the View Network Connections link
6. Click on "Advanced" in the Menu bar
7. Click on "Dial-up Preferences" from the drop down menu
8. Select the AutoDial tab
9. Remove the checkmark by the connection listed in the scroll box
10.Click on OK.

What are you doing when this happens ??
Is your Internet connection active or inactive when it happens ??

I haven't noticed it popup on any certain occasions or when i use certain programs. Just when i'm normally browsing the web. I use Mozilla Firefox as my main browser, and all the popups i get from this are from IE.

I YAHOO
for answers. You can look in other forums. My guess that the following may stop it-
Blocking Unwanted Parasites with a Hosts File
What is involved is editing the HOSTS file, or
placing the "DNS Client" service in Manual.

Also to say--
Have you ever tried using
ALT +F4
to close that popup ??That saves having to click, and Microsoft says to do that instead of clicking.
