I am having a horrible time with my computer. All was running fine with an Nvidia FX5600 and 512 of PC3700 RAM. I just HAD to upgrade to a gig of PC 3200 and a new Nvidia 6800! Now I am getting errors constantly. Most recently I recieved this error.
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Stop 0x0000000A (0x00000005, 0x0000001e, 0x00000000, 0x806EE8C2)I also got a Dr. Watson PostMortem Debugger error when I accessed the task manager. I have run a memtest and got no errors. Please someone help me, I don't know what else to do.

ok so you put PC3200 memory in replacing pc3700? did you check to make sure your motherboard supports that? How long did you do the memory test for? its best to let it go as long as you possibly can. I normally let mine run overnight or for 2 days. Also, put your old memory back in and see if everything works fine, if it does then you know you have bad memory.

Most likely it is a result of your new video card drivers. See if you can get updated an updated version and follow the manufacturers instructions for removing and installing the driver EXACTLY. You can check this by DISABLING the video card and then rebooting.

It sounds like faulty RAM. Try one of the diagnostics programs that checks each memory location for read adn write, such as micro2000, but it definitely sounds like faulty RAM. Did you ground yourself when you were installing it?
tralalala

Yea I made sure not to have any static. Where can I get a good diagnostic program? I will run it and check again for sure.
Some more info. The PC runs fine for a while and then all of the sudden it BSOD. It gave me the Dr. Watson error when I tried to access Task Manager, and froze up. Previous to that the monitor would go black for a second and then come back. This was before I got the BSOD. Is there anyway to run a diagnostic on my video card?

Back in 98, I would remove the hardware in Device Manager. In your case it would be the
"Display Adapter". Then I would restart Windows,
and upon starting, Windows would ask for a driver.Watch for help from others.

so should I just remove the video card driver? I just bought the videcard and for some reason the CD that it came with is not recognizing the video card, but windows does and the driver does install from the CD using windows automatic driver install. Is it reasonable to think that this is a video card issue? Maybe I should request an RMA and get a new one? Anyway to troubleshoot just the video card?

PLEASE RE-READ my original post -

One method to test video card maybe:
Start>Run>then type
dxdiagOn the Display tab, there are some Test buttons.
Also see if the Device info is shown correctly.

ok I will try to do the dxdiag first. It is showing the correct device info. I am going to get rid of the device and reinstall drivers etc. Maybe I will update the BIOS on the MB also. Thanks for the help and I will update when I get a chance to complete everything that people have already listed.

Its the ram, Even though the motherboard manuals say it supports such and such certain ram types do conflict and jam out the blue screens. Usually each motherboard website has pages of test results of ram they have tested for compatibility. Double check your mainboards website with your memory modules manufactor and type.
God made men and then rested, God made women and noone rested since..

I just called VIA, and they said to time my memory differently, because they think thats what's giving me the errors. Does anyone know where I can find some more information on timing memory to different specs? IE. Diff. voltages and timings?

Could look here for links about memory timing:
