mmm...

Perhaps clarify - confirm - the following:

Was the system working OK with a normal display to start with? Then did the (monitor) display disappear (the monitor screen went to black)?

If so did you simply decide to replace RAM; and if so did it all work OK - for while; then again no display?

When you replaced the RAM - did you switch off the computer and remove the mains cable from it; or just switch the PC off at the front - but leave the mains-cable/plug installed, and the mains/power socket still switched on?

The display problem may not be due to RAM; it may be due to a problem with the graphics card - which may be faulty. Does this computer have a separate graphics card; and if so what make and type; or is it an adapter on the motherboard?

The tingling/electric-shock issue:

Are you in India/Pakistan etc.? If you are then from my visit to India I seem to recall that your wiring patterns are similar to the UK - not like those of N.America. If this is so then... are you sure that the mains-socket wiring is correct; and that the mains cable and plug are OK. With a properly wired mains-outlet, and a properly wired plug and good mains cable... there shouldn't be any electric shock (tingling etc...) when you touch it.

If you are not in India/Pakistan - please post back saying where. The style of mains-wiring may the issue here...

Also what make is this PC (computer)?

This is about the third time this person has posted about replacing his RAM multiple times, asking the same question and seemingly blaming the ram for being low quality or such.
http://computing.net/hardware/wwwbo...

His system obviously has some other major problem that is causing the ram to fail and yet he seemingly refuses to consider that it might be anything other than flakey ram. The bit about feeling an electrical shock is a new bit of info not previously revealed. Sounds to me like there may be some kind of short-circuit happening in the case. That or a faulty powersupply or other motherboard malfunction are likely suspects.
As I said last time, Ram rarely fails on it's own. To claim 8 failures in a row puts your problem way beyond faulty ram.

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

The situation is not helped by the appparent evidence that English is not his prime language...

Perhaps we can be patient and gently lead him to a possible (actual) solution anon...?

I think it is bcos his motherboard only support AGP Ultra cards. If you're using MERCURY PI865GM board that board only support a small list of AGP 4x and 8x cards.

refer your motherboard's manual (23rd page)
