Hi all. I have downloaded some .m4v movie files (mpeg-4) but I can't play them on any of my existing players including Media Player, Real Player, Quicktime and VLC. Anyone know what I can use to play these files? Thanks.

this is a codec problem.it doesnt matter what media player u use if the coedc isnt present to decode the file extension then the movie or file extension will not work.

In the years of 2K+, computers and multimedia go hand in hand. You almost can't have one without the other, not at home anyway! In the freeware circle, there are a number of packed players that give you lots of things to do with your files, they also take up lots of space on your hard drive, not to mention the processing power that's needed to run the things. Well, listen up!! If you like your MP3's, movies, DVD's (using you're existing DVD filters) and other great pieces of play, Zoom Player will take them and give you the control you need to enjoy them to their fullest, all for a measly 570k of download!!!
Zoom Player Standard is a customizable media player with a minimalist interface. It offers user defined context menus, adjustable video color settings, as well as advanced mouse controls, remote control capabilities and more. Zoom Player offers support for all DirectShow filters, including Subtitles and 10-Band EQ, as well as support for advanced video codecs (DivX/XviD/MPEG4), if they are installed on your PC.
