I have a PRISMIQ media player and am having trouble with it. It is wired through a Linksys BEFSR41 router. It works flawlessly in safe mode with networking but that's it. I have uninstalled my software firewall and disabled windows firewall. The PRISMIQ tech support people have been little help as they suggest with applications to make exceptions for in the firewall. That's great, but the problem still exists with them uninstalled. Does the fact that it connects in safe mode mean it's not the hardware router? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Pat

If it works after you install drivers while in safe mode then it looks like you have some compatability issues. Something that is started on regular boot and not during safe mode is interfering with it. It is a proccess of illimination to find the culprate. Go to start > run and type msconfig click to selective startup and then proceed to restart after checking each area to try to isolate the problem.
