Is it possible to ping my ADSL modem(connected on LAN cable)? What do I get if I ping my external IP? Loopback?

Try it and see - thats assuming you know the IP address. It certainly wont do any harm.

I already tried, but i always get ping <1ms. Is this loopback reply or connection to my modem reply? Is this like pinging my local ip or pinging my router?

Thats it. <1ms is what I would expect for a local address. If there was a problem you would get nothing.

You modem/router has two addresses. The local address and the public address with NAT in between. Pinging either one doesn't go any further than your modem. Pinging the public address might take .001 ms longer as it has to go through NAT.

I found the answer somewhere else. You CAN'T ping your own modem.

We better stop this discussion, because we could invent something new. :)

I get <10ms

Guess I'm a little slow.
