Are you using a firewall? If you're using a properly configured firewall, your ports will not be open and you should have nothing to worry about.

I also use Pc-cillin and I'm getting ICMP Echo Requests every few seconds - I think everyone is - you can't stop it - that's what your Firewall is for

if you are getting someone trying to ping your computer ever second or so...then they are attacking you. heres what you can do.

get their ip address and call your isp. tell them the ip address and have them block it at their routers. because they ee all that stuff tooo they are just passing it along to everyone else...so in your case i would make a call and have them block it for you.

best of luck,

I think it is still the result of msblaster.d/welchia worm running around...it will continue for a while. If you look at your logs you will likely also notice the IP addresses are almost all different. It is likely not someone deliberately attacking you...it is the worm trying to get in from thousands of infected computers. As long as the logs say the pings etc. was blocked you are ok.
If you havn't already...get your updates from microsoft and keep your antivirus up to date.
Have a good day

I too have pc-cillin and it also registers a ping attack every 20 or 30 sec. In the last few days I have had some very bad problems trying to get web pages to open. I even give up some times it is so bad.

Why do some people always have to spoil things for the majority of us who just want to enjoy our pc's and the internet.
