Hi,

If this posts twice I apologize. I posted before and it didn't show up, and also would not confirm the post.

I have a Gateway and uninstalled Picture It through Add/Remove in Control Panel. Now when I boot up I get a message that says, "The shortcut to picture it is
unavailable. Make sure the disk is in the drive" Why am I getting this message and what can I do to get rid of it?

Thanks so much for your help!

Vince

Reply:

start/run regedit
after backing up the registry, do a find for "Picture it" & del all references to it
reboot & the msg should be gone

also try clicking on start->run->msconfig

usually some programs will try to load up a program or service...msconfig allows you to remove it
