Picture formats

Every time I right-click on an jpeg image and select "save image as" I never get the files name. instead it says "noname" as filename, and bmp as file format. How do I change this?

being too lazy to delete my Temp files I select from the right click menu "email picture" it then shows it in the "attach" line with the correct name and extension - I then drag it to the desktop
