Specs: Windows XP
I just discovered tons of pictures and icons in the sample folder in My Pictures. Looks like pics from everything Ive ever clicked on everywhere for the past few months. How do I stop this? Where do I go to change the settings?

I never heard of that as a setting choice.

Delete all the files you don't want. Then do some task. See if it copies files there. If so you may then have to get some advanced tools, maybe sysinternals tools to get into some detailed program monitoring.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

Would you care to ...erm...uh... let us know what browser you are using? You know, it just might be relevant. don't you think?

If it is IE, then tell it where you want the TIFs (Temporary Internet Files, i.e: cache) to be stored, and while you are at it, tell it to not store so much. But that's up to you...

PS -- Sounds to me like somebody might have configured it that way, so they could monitor your surfing activities, but maybe that's just a bit of paranoia.
