I did an update for Google's picture organizing program, Picasa. After it installed, it asked me to restart my computer. I did, and now it won't boot. I get a black screen that says, "We are sorry for the inconvenience, but..." and there are several options, like start in Safe Mode, Last know Good Configuration. I've tried all the options, and I end up at the same screen.
My question is, how can I uninstall the update for Picasa, and make my computer work again?

Did you also try Safe Mode with Command Prompt ?
If you cannot access regular safemode, try system restore from Safe Mode with Command Prompt.
At the command prompt, type C:\Windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe and press enter & revert to an earlier time.
