Comment:

Can someone help me out here. After creating a PHP page in Dreamweaver and saving it, the file always saves as a Microsoft Picture IT file. I looked up the files extensions and both PHP scripts and Microsoft Picture IT use the .php extension.

Is there any way to tell it to save it as a PHP or Picture It file? or will there always be a conflict?

Thanks

To tell XP to always open it in another program, go to my computer > tools > folder options > file types tag. Here you will be able to make it always open in Dreamweaver rather then Picture It.
