as i read your post, seems that you have BIOS password and you want to disable it

1.Turn off the computer
2.Unplug the power cord
3.Open the computer
4.Find the battery
5.Take it out and wait for a minute
6.Put it back
7.Re-plug the power cord
8.Turn on the computer
9.Reset BIOS settings to default
10.You`re done

... depending on which laptop/pc you have removing the cmos battery may result in a locked machine as a security safeguard some also lock the harddrive if you do not have correct password.

... check @ the pc website to make sure.
