I'm using the Phoeonix Browser V0.5 I want to know how to clear the forms history cuz I cant find it anywhere in the preferences. What I mean is when I go to google and type in one letter, a whole list of previous searches comes up. And if I am filling out a form my full name shows up when I start typing. Anyone know how to clear this?
Thanks in advance and thanks for hearing me out.

Why don't you post your question in the phoenix/Firebird forum? I am sure they will help you. (Those nice guys there usually answer their question within the same day). The problem with firebird is that it is still in pre-released status and therefore it still has a lot of bugs. They release nightly builds almost daily, and some has fixed some old bugs, and some has some new bugs. You can look up their bugs list and see what bugs your version has. And you should really download a more recent version because 0.5 is actually very old. And the recent build is actually 0.6 . I don't have much problem with the latest build 4/23/03. For your question, the auto form bugs has been there for a lot of builds, and I don't remember whether your version has that bugs or not.

Matt.
The 0.5 version of Phoenix is old.
The newer stable build would be 3/20 nightly build.I'm running that.
The 4/23 nightly was looking good also when I checked the mozillazine Phoenix/Firebird forum last night.
0.6 version has not been released yet.The forums can be found at www.mozillazine.com.
The browser may nave a button labeled "phoenix discussions",same place. To clear the data try this(I think it is the same in 0.5)Tools>Options>Privacy.
You should be able to clear history that way.
But remember that Phoenix/Firebird is a beta program. There will be some minor bugs in most releases.Running a nightly like 3/20 or 4/23 should have less of the bugs that the older versions had.Hopefully not many new bugs.Hope this helps,
JB

Matt.
If you do decide to install a newer version make sure to follow the instructions at the Phoenix/Firebird website.
You should not install over the top of a previous version or build!Check out the forum over at Phoenix and read the feedback on builds before trying them.
There is also a very good Firebird(that's the new name)Bugs category.
Like Michael said, the folks over there are very helpful.
Regards,
JB
