If you right click and choose properties it should tell you that it sees it. Without a FAT (file allocation table) the CDRW has nothing to read. Format for drag and drop and leave blank for Audio recording. Hope this helps.

What if I change the file system to NTFS?

I do not get a format option when I right click the cd and choose properties.
