Subject: Permission to run program
OS: XP Pro
CPU/Ram: Over 1ghz if not 2
Model/Manufacturer: Toshibra Tecra
Comment:
Hello,

I installed a program as the local administrator, but if any user on the domain logs in and tries running it it says "this software can only be run by a user with administrator privileges".

How can I get this to allow users to run it?

Thanks.

Complain to the guys who wrote it. If you bug them enough, they might just fix their program to run without administrative privileges. That’d be the smart way.

The stubborn way would be to find out exactly what the program accesses, and open those resources up to everyone.
