Hi all, I have and use an external hd drive, which is often moved from pc to pc (between 4 at home when network is down and or family's pc's). the drive is nothing more than data. I find it very frustrating to continually have to open properties and enable sharing whenever I transfer it. Is there a way I can set it to permanently share to save me doing this all the time? It's only because, if say 1 of my pc's goes down I move the drive to a working pc, but as the down pc is running again the drive is inaccessable without running through the share process again. Many thanks.
