Ah hot synch!!! I will not tell you why I had to export my memo pad data because the importance lies in the fact that it has been deleted from the recycle bin; & that's not all.
I used Unerase from my Norton protected recycle bin, found, & recovered the filename. When attempting to import it back to the memo pad, it said that the file was either corrupt or was not a memo back-up / export file (or something similar). I looked at the contents of this "restored" file & by gum.... although explorer claimed that the file was 28kb, there was only a couple lines of some other garbage that belonged to something else that had been deleted. Maybe the file has been written over? C'MON!!!! The contents are somewhere right? Little help? I know... recycle bin, system restore, data recovery is the typical procedure but I'm not sure that this is a typical situation.
