1. To make a long story short..... Bought new dell With Home XP, moved files from old comp with Win98 to XP. 3 months later had Hard drive crash on Dell. Would like to set up peer-to-peer network to regain old files. All backups were made on ZipDrive on old comp. What do I need other than the
parallel cable and what is the procedure ( in layman terms, please)
2. Have not yet tried burning CD-R's or CD-RW's. Must one format the CD's first. Have Roxio EZCD 5 .
Thanks for any help. Can be contacted offline at williams1003@mail.com

It would probably be easiest just to temporarily install the zip into the dell pc. If your wanting to do a direct cable connection it will be really slow. Try searching www.google.com for instructions on doing a direct cable connection.

As far as formatting the cd 's goes you have to format cd-rw disks but you do not have to format cd-r disks. Ezcd5 should prompt you to format when it needs to. Make sure you get all the patches and fixes for Ezcd5
