i have installed acrobat reader 8..i can't read pdf file on my internet explorer directly,but when i download that pdf file on my system then only iam able to read that file. it so irratating and space consuming.
please help me out.

I had the same problem with Acrobat Reader 8 and could never sort it out. I had to revert to Acrobat Reader 7 to get anything to work properly.

If all you want to do is to read PDF files you might like to take a look at Foxit Reader. It is a lot quicker than Acrobat Reader and not such a resource hog.

If you want to create PDF files from any printable document the Cute PDF will do it for free.

I have had that same problem. I think it is related to what permissions are granted by the creator of the file. For instance, have you seen PDF forms that you can fill out online and print. That is due to permissions that are setup. I personally prefer to download and then read. I am always gapping PDF MBoard manuals in order to help someone here. Scrolling through manuals at some sites is excruciatingly slow. So I download to desktop and when finished with helping I delete the file.
