I am looking for a PCMCIA TV card in the UK. I have tried searching, and indeed there are thousands of links, with the precise words, but when you actually visit the sites, they are either trying to sell you a television, or USB TV card. I have a laptop computer running windows XP, but it can run windows NT, 98 & 2K as well. The ports are usb 1.1. I was told that PCMCIA runs 300 times faster than usb 1.1, and so a TV card will work here. To my astonishment, i can't seem to find one in the UK. Tottenham court road, say they went out when dinosaurs died. Hmmm! Well i never saw any, dinos or pcmcia tv cards. I found some in America, but i am not prepared to deal overseas. I have lost money before. I'm exhausted and just need to go to bed. If someone could locate an exact link for me to buy a PCMCIA TV card in the UK, then i would be grateful. Before chrismas, PCWorld adverised one, but i couldn't afford to buy it then, and now there website has been updated, and it has been removed. Searching makes no difference. Help!! Thanx
