Need Some help...
I have a 3D Voodoo Banshee PCI card in one system, as well as a Savage 2000 64MB w/Tv Out card in its AGP slot. When XP restarts it does find the card, but heres the problem.
Its stating that it found a PCI card when indeed its a AGP card. which leads me to believe that it is giving me THIS error message due to THAT conflict....
no keys---------------
This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.
no keys---------------Now Code 12 is actually a conflict code I believe it was or something like that. Really had nothing to do with enough resources because my system at that point has tons of resources free. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE P L E A S E, someone, I have been trying for the past 2 months to get this card to work and extend the desktop onto a TV. "IT DID WORK WHEN WIN98" was installed, until I had to reformat, and then it didnt even work in win98.
Thanks to ANYONE who can help.

Make sure your Bios is set to boot the PCI card first.
Mine runs fine that way.
(Under win 98.xx u could boot the Agp first but that has never worked in 2k or xp.)
After it boots u can nomiinate your primary/secondary monitor, and add a tv with the Tv out function if u wish.
Hope that helps

I had a similar problem with that code 12 but it was with my Soundblaster PCI 128 card.
"no resources, try disable another device bla bla bla" I solved it by going to the BIOS and change the assignment of IRQs from
automatic to manual. I also choosed PCI for all IRQs.I guess its different in different BIOS and my is kind of old but I havnt had the problem since. Im afraid I dont really understand the tech stuff completely but I really hopes that its not a common problem in XP, it should be able to assign enough resources for the devices by itself.
