Hi I put my pc into hibernation ( silly thing to do). I have not been able to boot it up.
I press the start button the green light comes on, but no fans work, dvd won't open Motherboard light does not come on. I changed the psu thinking the power might be the problem, that did not help.I took the cmos battery out for a couple of minutes and put it back but still didn't work also the keyboard does not light up, the monitor stays black. I have run out of ideas maybe it's the motherboard. Can anyone help

If the spare powersupply you tried is known to work in another system then the problem may be either of motherboard or CPU. Disconnect the hard drives & optic drives. Leave only motherboard CPU with heatsink/fan, 1 stick of RAM, graphics and keyboard. Disconnect any/all other PCI cards and USB devices. Does the motherboard have any LEDs that are usually on when power is present? Many do and if you are not even getting that to light up it would seem the motherboard has failed.
