PC won't boot

OS: Windows XP
CPU/Ram: Athlon 1800+
Comment:

Motherboard: SantaFe
BIOS: Phoenix

I pulled out my battery and popped it back in some time latter (I was told that this sets your BIOS back to its default settings). Now my PC turns on, disks starts and such but the screen stays blank and it beeps 3 times (once long, 2 short). Please help me

That is usually an indication of a video error.

You may have pulled your card ajar when you pulled the battery.

Try taking it out and reseating it but make sure you turn all your power off first.

Make sure it is in real secure.

Ok, im using the inbuilt S3-ProVantage and not a grephics card
