I have a desktop with XP Pro installed. I have a mini pc with no OS installed. It has a 60 GB hard drive, no floppy, no CD Rom. Is there a way to connect to my desktop somehow, so I can load an OS on the mini-pc, using the desktops CD-Rom? And/or is it possible/better to use an external CD-Rom? TIA

if you will stay with win98 for the mini pc,
you can load the os on the hardrive in the other computer, then move to the mini.
it will find the motherboard drivers on the mini, but thats easy.
