system restarts automatically when i try to install software like .net, etc and also while running browsers, working with ms office, power point,while taking print outs etc i got the error code Error code 0000009c, parameter1 00000000, parameter2 f796d050, parameter3 b2000000, parameter4 1040080f. i had checked my pc for virus malware etc and even formated my whole system and installed OS i had checked my harddisk for errors and didn't find any problem with that. i had even removed the " automatic restart option in startup and recovery property " please give a correct remedy

since you are using XP, why don't you use the system restor in safe mode. (to get into safe mode, hold Ctrl down when computer first starts.

The Error code 0000009c has to do with hardware failure. Most of ther times it has to do with cpu overheating or hardware which stops working....well, unless you are an expert you need a technician WebMaster of WEB TALK
