PC restarts by itself

OS: Windows XP Pro
CPU/Ram: 1.8/128MB

I couldn't open the Add/Remove Program.
I'm using Windows Xp Professional. Everytime I clicked on Control Panel -> Add/Remove Program, my PC will give error & restart by itself.
What could be the cause?

But i have already scan virus using anti virus programme and has removed all the virus except trojan horse.Any idea how to remove it?

you could try disabling auto restart in system/advanced/start up & recovery/auto-restart /un-tick that
