Hello Folks,
I will try to keep it short, even though this issue has history. Basically my PC is shutting itself down and rebooting, giving me errors, freezing in games and dumping me to desktop randomly. I took it in to be repaired and PC tech thought it might be built up spybot, they removed them and sent it home. It didnt change anything. Now, last year this happened, and after much trial and err the tech guys just reformated the whole thing and that worked. I was hoping that this time we could really find out what is happening and fix it w/o reformating. here are a few of the errors Ive gotten;

. I would appreciate any ideas and if you need more info I would gladly post it. Thanks for your time.i put s message up earlier about my disk clean up and the reply said to Run a Scandisk on that unit and then Defrag it....what does this mean? how do i do that?

Random rebooting is a symptom of a Sasser Worm infection. (Of course, it might be something else.)
The link below will take you a Microsoft page where you can test your PC for the worm, and remove it if the PC's infected.
I hesitate to ask the obvious, but have you installed all of XP's critical updates at the MS site? Running reliable AV software and an effectively configured firewall?
Microsoft's Sasser Info & Test Page
Motor cooled down, heat went down, that's when I heard that reinstall sound

I think your problems are due to hardware, possibly defective RAM module and/or motherboard. Sasser would initiate a countdown of I think 60 sec's to shutdown.

I'd also agree with it being hardware as you are getting spontaneous reboots. Run full scandisk, memtest & suchlike then check the voltages.

Thank you Guys for all your replies.
I am taking it back to the Technicians today. They had added all critical updates, did virus scans and removed bots last time and told me to try it for the weekend. This must be routine cause I am feeling deja vu. Last time that this type of thing happen it was a year ago. After a month of tests and going back and forth, it was decided to reformat and that helped.. till now. The only major changes to the PC since then were DX9 and WINXP update.
Here is a little bit about what system Im running, are there any known existing problems that prehaps I dont know about with these machines? I do appreciate all your responses.
